@Roadkill_Spatula - haha, yes, this was Christmas eight plus years ago, when they were all just kids. Joe and Macy prepared a chicken bbg for him at their place, with John, Andrew and a friend of John’s came along, too. I had to stay home. He got messages and phone calls from the others who had to work or who were on military drills. The only ones he didn’t hear from were Teara and Keara. Guess they are busy. He had a lovely day, even though he did get pulled over for speeding. Get out of jail free cards on Father’s Day.
Sounds like a very satisfying day, all told. I’m glad he didn’t get the ticket. It would have been expensive.
