  • When All Else Fails

put on your turquoise Converse and kick butt.

    Or pull weeds.

My Hunky’s new job allows him two three day weekends every month,
    I know, dude!

Anyway, he is off today, so we are tackling some jobs around the ranch.

I started taking cayenne pepper and am seeing major progress with my digestive issues in only two days.  It might be coincidence, but I am rolling with it, until it don’t roll no mo.

    I feel FREAKING good!

Okay, I need to get back out there and tackle some more weeds,
while Hunky is tending the burn pile.

BTW, I smell like a pig right now.

  • Just wrap yourself in banana leaves and go lay down bythe burn pile and you’ll smell delicious!

  • My daughter would so love your turquoise shoes! It’s okay to smell like ‘pig’. I use to work on a pig farm in GA during high school. My very first experience of part of what the South is all about.

  • Yay for feeling better!

  • Better a pig than an old goat.

  • It feels good  to read this . Go on  to pull the weeds ! Is that we call a wedding ?? I mean the weeding!!!!
    Love

    Michel

  • Tackling weeds is not for wimps. I hope you win, Cayenne for digestive issues? Good idea.

  • Excellent!!!! Cayenne!! Dude!! :D Whatever’s doing it –Keep It Up!

  • Tamy,  I just have to ask. . .does it burn?   Love you girl!  I’m so glad that it seems to be doing the trick! I wonder if the heat numbs/relaxes the muscles of the colon and keeps everything from spasaming?  Interesting.  Have a great weekend!

  • Glad you’re feeling spunky.  =)

I like the way pig smells when it’s frying in my skillet.  But you’re probably not interested in sticking your hand in there, are you.

    Are you?

  • So happy you are feeling better! I love those converse, too. Nice colour!

    P.S. Piggies are cute! xoxo

  • Yay for you……no matter what you smell like.  They say cayenne pepper is good for lots of things.  My husband loves it.

  • You are on a roll, pig smell & all. And with those snazzy shoes on on will notice a little smell

  • Shoes look great and so happy to hear the pepper treatment is doing it!

  • Praise the Lord! So glad you’re feeling better. I pray it continues to work!

Sounds like your hunky is scoring brownie points with ya!  My Studley is working on getting the pool up and running today. I love that man! He’s also going to work on getting the yard fixed up and picked up.

And hey, those turquoise canvas are AWESOME!

  • I’m SO glad that something may be working! I’m hoping to find the same thing some day (at least that’s legal… lol)

  • Sounds like a little the homeopathic remedy… Cayenne pepper would kill me but if it is working for you I’d go with it! Whatever it takes  including turquoise shoes!

  • So glad youre feeling better.  I like the shoes-my husband has every color there is of “chucks”.

  • Love the color of your sneakers, they are awesome. I am happy you are feeling better too.

  • Hope your weekend is fun! xo

  • Weeds, turquoise converses, cayenne pepper, Hunky, pig-smellen….sounds like & looks like life is pretty dern okay right now. HAL-lay-loo-ya!

  • I hope the cayenne doesn’t cause your toilet to explode.

  • Glad you’re feeling so much better!

  • @betheelou - I take it in capsule form, one capsule three times a day. (after meals)  It works as an antibacterial and helps to dull pain.  Also stimulates and purifies the blood to promote healing.  I am using it to treat a stomach ulcer, rather than Crohns directly.  So far, so good.  I do hope I’ve hit on something that is actually working.  But, it seem crazy to take cayenne pepper for an ulcer!

  • @betheelou - Oh, and no it does not burn since I am taking it in capsule form.  Mixed with water is suppose to be best, but I don’t think I could do that three times a day. Or even once.  haha!

  • Glad to hear you found something that is working.  I could use a work schedule like that!
