Beautiful shots… and I’m very glad you have a partner to help you through life.
wow. what delightful serene shots to see in the morning.
Oh wow! definitely worth the hike.
SOOOOO pretty! I haven’t been on our bike path near our house yet but when I do I take my camera and get lots of pictures. Just finished taking Charlie for a walk this morning. His legs aren’t as strong as they used to be in the back so I take him on my days off now and go slower.
so pretty!! I’ve been to Turner Falls…once.. but I never got that close to the water only saw it from the car coming in and in the car leaving… We got to our cabin and I came down with the one and only UT infection I’ve ever had!! We had to go home–it was awful and I still don’t know what I missed!
Amazing!!! Where was this at???
beautiful!! Thanks for sharing ~
@Passionflwr86 - After 27 (almost 28) he still rocks my world. It feels good to have endured what we have endured, and will continue to endure. There’s something magical that happens in those rough times. Something phenomenal on the other side of those rough times.
@ZSA_MD - Thank you, Zakiah. Hope you had a lovely morning!
@Thatslifekid - It really is worth it. I couldn’t do it without his willingness and desire to see me pursue my passions. Even though I know I hold him back, he never makes me feel that way.
@Tempguestbrief - Oh how sad! It really is a beautiful place. One of Oklahoma’s treasures. Hopefully, you will get to make another trip back with your own children!
@XxWiltedRosexX - This is at Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma. A couple hours from where we live. Fun place!
@atticusfin - Thank you! So glad you enjoyed this little piece of Oklahoma.
It’s great to have a man like that isn’t it?
These are some of the prettiest pictures I’ve ever seen. My goodness! Where IS all of that beauty?
@SamsPeeps - It is. And this place is Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma. LOVE it here.
You’re twisting my arm, woman. You’re going to adopt me by the end of the summer at this rate.
Absolutely gorgeous.
a girl’s gotta take fabulous photos too. WOW!
That’s absolutely beautiful, Tamy! Thanks for sharing it.
Oooh so pretty!! Love all the colors!
I’m so glad you were able to get out and enjoy such a beautiful place. Hiking is good for the soul. Especially when there’s a geocache or two along the trail. I made it out to a nearby nature preserve last week and felt a lot of the frustration I’m feeling about various things ease in the sanctuary of the woods. It was nice to get away from everything for a couple of hours and just worry about whether Boo and I were going to be completely covered with mud, or just partially covered with mud. Boo had to be carried some of the time, too.
That’s a beautiful place. Love the green color of the water. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Positively breathtaking.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - I can see why! Came by just to look at the pics again. You’re lucky!
Gorgeous place!!
I’ve been to Turner Falls a few times. How did you manage to go there when there’s no one around? Usually, it’s always packed with people, sometime really crowded.
That part of I-35 is also a speed trap; i keep seeing cops hiding around every curves and bend. I also find really good food in the surrounding towns.
Well now, I must say I am proud of you, and pleased as punch to see this lovely spot. It could very well end up something I check out myself very soon. The falls and the hole-in-the-rock are particularly attractive.
What gorgeous pictures. Looks like a slice of heaven. In all the years I have lived here, I never made it to Turner Falls. Sigh.
Really enjoyed this scenic hike. You have a wonderous talent to capture the beauty of the land. ♥
This is so beautiful! Where is Turner Falls?
Absolutely breathtaking…and good for the soul! Glad you got to get out and breathe in the beauty! And while you have him to carry your wildwomen-ness and your stuff…he is blessed to have you! I know you carry him, and encourage him, emotionally as you two walk the path together! HUGS!!!
it’s so beautiful there! your pics are awesome-thanks for sharing–karen
beautiful pics. hiking the terrains is something we should make more time to enjoy… especially for sights like these. thanks for sharing
These are really wonderful photos! I wish I could do as well… I’m also thrilled that you are up to hiking!
Pictures are gorgeous, so glad you brought your camera and shared them
haven’t been there in about 25yrs -my boys loved it there.
I guess since they started charging for entrance. Love it there.
@sf2slc - hahaha, I know, it’s normally packed. We went early enough in the season, it made easier to catch a few shots without bodies. Davis has a Mexican restaurant downtown that we love.
@MzSilver - Thank you for the song. I’ve been thinking about you. (((hug)))
@RighteousBruin - Thank you, Gary. I really try to celebrate the things I can do.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - That might not be such a good idea. Boo makes Cactus Jack look like a sweet little kitten.
@Kellsbella - Thank you! Turner Falls is in Davis, Oklahoma (SW OK)
@adamswomanback - He definitely makes me feel like he is blessed, even though there are times I should be stuffed in a gunny sack and thrown over a cliff. Thank you.
@roxanneshante - Thank you and I totally agree. Spending time in nature restores the soul.
@murisopsis - One could call it crawling. But, it’s as close to hiking as I can get right now.
@Texasjillcarmel - Do you have any old photos of when you were there?
@saintvi - haha! We might have to stuff him in my big beach bag first.
gorgeous! so glad you’re up and about again~
Really nice pictures
Love these lovely photos, especially of that waterfall. THAT looks like it would be fun to play on and around! Where is this?
as Doris answered I am surprised that a stay at home mom can earn $8313 in one month on the computer. did you look at this site link http://www.rev24.com
I wish I had taken the kids to see that place when I lived in Texas. Looks spectacular.
There’s a BBQ place that’s PACKED everytime I go there. Lots of people eat there. One usually have to wait in line. Then there’s a little creole-type restaurant that’s further down the main street, next to a Shell gas station that is about 1 mile outside of town. It looks tiny but the food is good.
Looks like some really challenging hiking! Thanks for the beautiful shots! So glad for you and your husband and the joy of being together on the trails of life!
OH wow!!!! I want to hike there!! There is so much beauty in those pictures. They are just wonderful! I’m drooling!
@Ampbreia - Thank you! Lots of people are normally playing in these glorious waters, but we went earlier in the season, so it wasn’t crowded. Turner Falls is located in Davis, Oklahoma. (SW OK)

@Roadkill_Spatula - It’s never too late!
@sf2slc - The Mexican place is Las Cascadas. I’m not for sure, but I think the bbq joint might have opened up a second location. ???
I love your husband for the way he loves you.
Gorgeous photos.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - I’m okay with that as long as you kill the scorpions for me. I’m useless when it comes to creepies.
@BigToePeople - I find him quite remarkable. I am no easy task.
@chronic_masticator - I kill them for Hunky, so it’s not a problem.
