It’s Not Good (update 8)
I am sick.
Moore Oklahoma has been hit again.
It’s beyond massive.
At least two schools have been wiped out.
The children were still inside.
No reports yet on survivors.
Still waiting to hear from @bohemianlotus.
Storms are not due to hit our area for a couple hours, maybe less.
Please pray and send your sweet calming vibes towards Oklahoma’s chaos.
I love you.
UPDATE: All kids accounted for at Briarwood Elementary school in Moore, OK. Minor injuries reported at the school. www.news9.com
UPDATE 3: Macy, (my oldest daughter) is with bohemianlotus. She is safe, but without phone/power. They drove by the area of her mother’s home and it looks to be leveled. She still has been unable to locate/contact her mom.
UPDATE 4:UPDATE 5: Macy just let us know that bohemianlotus was finally able to make contact with her mom, and Romeo is believed to be okay, too.
UPDATE 6: Oklahoma State ME office at 11:54pm – death toll from Monday’s tornado outbreak is now 91 24.
UPDATE7: 101 people found alive overnight in the rubble.
UPDATE 8: Here’s an update from @bohemianlotus! She could use some xanga hugs.

Am watching on tv & fighting tears – how terrible! Please stay safe!
I’ve been thinking about you all day, yesterday too…I’m praying Hard!!!!!!

{{{HUGS tightly}}}
been praying!–karen
OMG! Glad to hear about Brierwood though. So much castrophy in the news lately!
Prayers from the Arkansan neighbors.
I texted bohemianlotus, she hasn’t texted me back yet :/
They’re telling us on MSNBC that grades 4,5, and 6 at Plaza Towers School were evacuated to a nearby church before the tornado hit and all those are accounted for. They’re searching for the k-3 kids at the school now.. The whole area looks terrible, Tamy — and I imagine it brings back horrible memories for you!
I have been watching the news. It’s so sad! I am glad the kids were not killed. I contacted my friends from Oklahoma and thankfully they are ok. I am praying for you and everyone in Oklahoma. Hugs! <3
I just got a call from my friends who have family members missing.
Please pray for the Evans family.
We are praying for everyone in OK!
HUGS
My son and I were in Moore, two years ago. It is horrifying, to say the least. Four people were killed at a 7-11 and four others in other parts of Moore. I can only watch and pray, for the time being. Being on a Red Cross team, I could very easily be out there myself soon.
Right now, I just hope all the kids, at least, are brought out alive from Plaza Towers.
{{{hugs}}}}
I am glad the children at the school are all OK. I will definitely keep you and your family in mind.
I have thought of you and Jillcarmel continuously Tamy. praying for all of you. Thank you for the update that all the children are accounted for in the schools. The pictures on the TV are disturbing, and I am trying to not cry in front of my relatives and grandchildren. We are not supposed to get tornadoes, mainly rain and winds, whatever! I wish and pray you all in OK would be spared~ such horrendous agony.
Praying since hearing the news, you’re in them now along with Bohemianlotus and the Evans family (@adamswomanback). May the merciful God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph and father of Ye’shua the Messiah bless all in this storm’s path and encamp his protecting angels around all his children in harm’s way, in his son Ye’shua’s name. Please let us know when you hear from Bohemianlotus (@randaness). Peace be with all reading.
@AOK4WAY - Thank you for your prayers!
Sending prayers for all there and for you, who have goen through this terror.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugsWW)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Such terrible news. I just read an update on MSN & it made my heart ache. 40 minutes on the ground is a long long time for one of those things. So glad to hear the children are alright even if scared out of their minds along with everybody else. I saw a few minutes on the news & had to turn it off, I just could not handle the sights.
Keeping thoughts & prayers positive on behalf of everybody involved & keeping fingers crossed that your area has no major problems or if possible, escapes completely.
Take care of yourselves.
(((((hugs)))))
Re: update. Yes, I just watched the news… amazing, and thank God… Really, Thank God.
I feel so bad for those kids and their parents. What a terrifying experience! I hope everyone is safe.
I will be contacting my local Red Cross lead, to see whether we will be headed out there. I imagine he will want to see where the dust settles, and when, before deploying anyone. This is what happened with Sandy.
as soon as I heard that the storms were hitting Oklahoma I thought of you and your dear family and friends. thank you for sharing with us about what you have heard. I am praying for all of you and for those who are being searched for.
God have mercy. We’re mourning the loss.
Thank you for continuing to update.
continuing to watch and pray
Crying. And praying.
My heart goes out to the families of the deceased
I just read the news and am speechless. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Oklahoma.
I’m so glad to hear that bohemianlotus is okay! I wish I could give you my cell phone number so you could text me if you hear any updates about her mom. How are her dogs? Do you know? I might be going in the basement soon, too, otherwise I could continue obsessively checking xanga.
Watching the news~ sending our thoughts and prayers out west!
Such a horrible tragedy. Thinking of you and yours. Be safe.
@randaness - Her dogs are fine. Macy just let us know that bohemianlotus was finally able to make contact with her mom, and Romeo is believed to be okay, too. (sorry, I don’t have a fancy phone with text.) STAY SAFE!
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Thanks!
I really don’t know what to say about all this.
haven’t been able to get oklahoma off my mind since i heard the news~ praying so much! and for those parents whose kids are still unaccounted for, Oh God, have mercy!!
@chronic_masticator - There are no words Amanda, there really are no words.
stunned.
Thank you Tamy for keeping us updated.
The news today has been so terrible tragic! I had to turn off the tv for a while, as it was all getting to me. My first thought in news of tornadoes is of you and your experience — do stay safe this week (they’re saying the risk is not over). I hope that MM is at home with you, and that all your kids are safe as well. HUGS!
Update 5: PHEW! Keeping you all in our thoughts!
Appreciate the update concerning all, especially @bohemianlotus ♥ Plz message me if I can help her in any way….
They are scary storms. I pray for the victims and those in the path of these storms.
The chaos and despair is just too, too much. I’ve been praying for ALL of you, my dear Tamy.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Tragedies like this are when I can’t tell the difference between hoping and praying.
praying for you and your family and all of those involved!! (((hugs))) stay safe!
I am relieved that our friends are okay. I am devastated by everything else about this event.
And here’s me moaning about the constant drizzle making it difficult to plant my tomatoes. It’s all relative I suppose.
The news is unbelievable.sad!!!
@BohemianLotus - I felt so relieved just knowing Joe and Macy were there with you. (((BIG FREAKING HUG)))
I love you. I’ve been thinking of you throughout all of this. I will continue prayers for everyone in Oklahoma.
Praying today for your family and the all the victims from the storm. I saw the horrible news and thought of all those xanga friends from that place. We get massive hurricanes out here but at least we know they are coming and have time to prepare.
what Martha answered I’m shocked that a student can get paid $6730 in a few weeks on the internet. have you read this site http://www.rev24.com
Gah! I am out of xanga for 2 days and all heck breaks loose! I will be praying. Please keep us updated – this is awful and the radio has been full of the coverage.
praise the Lord and may God be with the parents of the missing children
number of fatalities down from 51 to 24….. I like that trend!!!
PTL
http://www.news9.com/story/22307022/medical-examiners-office-number-of-dead-now-24
I wish I could reach out and hug the pain and sorrow away…I can’t even imagine the turmoil your all going through…I’m praying hard…. be safe!
The word on Yahoo is that there was a lot of double-counting of bodies yesterday, so the death toll is markedly lower, so they say. It does nothing to lower the impact of this tragic event. Much love to all who have lived through one tornado too many.
So awful, all of it.
That must be awful for what is going on. I am glad you are o.k. and pray that nothing will happen.
My heart go out all of you may the peace of God be with you and family members and also to the Oklahoma residents, I will continue to keep you’ll in my prayers.
God’s Blessings
I have been watching it and it just makes me cry. We always try to have a plan in case one hits our town.
A few times we have had the watches but it never hit us. The sky would look a scary green color and the wind felt weird.
Elita had a minor one in Athens, OH and she was stuck in the Library building for 4 hours.
Keeping them all (and you all) in my prayers. This has been horrible.
I gotta say Tamy, watching the news… You are some amazing people who live out there in that wild country of yours.
More prayers going out for all.
I’m glad we’re all safe and sound. I’m glad you’re okay, Tamy. (hugs)
I continue to send prayers for help and healing…but, also, saying some thank you prayers, too.
HUGS!
Been praying a lot and continue to pray. Such a senseless tragedy! My heart is just broken over those hurt/lost due to the storm.
oh geez. let’s hope the death toll stops there.
