  • No, He Is Not Passing Out Shots of Tequila (edit)

    Pecos loves to kiss.

Pecos loves Big Man. (you know him as Meteorology Man)

Pecos loves to kiss Big Man.

Big Man is not as secure in his manhood as Pecos,
so the kisses are limited to only the ones Pecos can sneak in.

    Pecos is a good sneaker.

Pecos wants to let Big Man know that he now holds his own Licker License.

    Viva La Chihuahua Love!

update: Things are rolling right along with the move.
The moving quote was half what we expected.
They are booked for the 19th.
We sold the guest house, it is booked to be moved on the 16th.
I will be packing a few things today with the few boxes I have around the house.
The other boxes should be arriving by the end of the week.
My daughter and friend will be helping me pack, hopefully we can arrange a date for next week.
MM whipped up the taxes.  Refund will cover the new kennel fencing and beyond.
Our home inspection on the Mexican farmhouse was Tuesday. All is well, nothing major.
We found out the building we will be converting into the kennel has central heat. Bonus.
We have learned it is illegal to shoo random cattle out of your yard.
They have been here for four days now.
    Go home.
    Or we are grilling steaks.

I miss you, my beautiful mangy varmints.

(edit) Just discovered the tags from @bigtoepeople and @tempguestbrief.  Since I am trying to pack and prepare to move, I think I would rather answer the Dare Questions while we are staying at the hotel. Hope that works! (((hugs))) to you both!

  • Let me know if you start grilling steaks.  I like mine rare, with garlic-butter sauce.

  • “Licker License”…that is SO funny and clever!!!  And so is Pecos!   Oh, how wonderful that things are moving right along with your move! I am extremely happy for you about that. Now, those cows…is there a way that you can entice them to mooove off of your property?

  • Oh its my PECOS!  *slurp* *slurp*

I am open for any dates! I can rearrange my work days. :)

  • Farewell BBQ!!

  • mmmmm rare steak.

The Pecos story reminds me of the big giant biker dude and his tiny little miniature dachshund puppy. It was hilarious.  The dog thought he was as big as his owner…I don’t think this dog owned a licker license though.

  • Love Pecos! I’m so glad you’re moving forward with the move — Have fun packing up — and it will soon be that Christmas-like unpacking and arranging at the new house!

  • I hope you have fun settling into a new house!

  • Oh wow, the pieces are really falling into place.  Happy for you.
Can’t chase cattle off your property?… um, don’t know how I feel about that.

  • so….you got a licker license and are grilling steaks.  I’ll bring salad and dessert ~ what time shall I be there??

    Glad things are coming along….

  • Licker license…teehee.  That Pecos.
Sounds like everything is moving along wonderfully!  Hope you can pace yourself on the packing.  Packing is not for wimps.
Can’t shoo cows off your property?  What is with that?!  Steaks

  • Hey, my friend Cactus Jack. I hope that’s him. I like the Licker License.

  • Hahaha; my dog is a licker too.  I don’t mind, but sometimes she gets carried away with it!!!

  • Somebody has their hands full.  Good to hear things are currently going smooth. Don’t work too hard. We want you back here in one piece!

  • what a look on that face! my Norfolk terrier likes to kiss daddy, too.

  • Glad things are moving along for you.  My cat likes to lick too.  I’m really more of a dog person.  I only got a cat because we had so many chipmunks (and a few mice) around the old house.  I don’t mind too much when a dog licks me, but I hate cat licks.

  • Hope the moos mooove on and the packing for the move is smooth!!

  • Ha, that sounds like Callie with my dad.  She’ll sit on his lap but look away until he relaxes his guard, then whip around and lick him.   We call her the fastest tongue in the west.
I’m glad everything seems to be going well, except for the cattle.  My grandmother has the same problem.

  • The Licker License cracked me up. SO true.

  • I’m glad things are going well with the move to the new place.  Blessings, blessings, blessings!  ((((hugs)))))

  • Hope you get a pic of MM getting Pecos kisses! I’m thinking you could use that later as leverage! LOL GO, Pecos, GO!

Praying for your move and your health.  Love ya, hon!

  • All of my dogs lick some, but what bothers me and the hubby is the “wet willies”.  The chorkie will absolutely lick your ears until you go crazy.  It seems she can not figure out that my tiny stud ear rings are not some damage to my body.  I never wear large ear rings, that is why I got them pierced in the first place.

  • Safe move!!! Love ther Licker License!!! lol

  • that little pecos is just tooooooo darned cute.

  • The move is well planned and your courage does not fail, Tamy .

And you have the help of …Pecos , the certified licker !
    Love
    Michel

  • I hope you are paying someone to move your stuff.  It’s worth every dime.  I’ve always labeled by boxed, they put each box in the correct room, and within 24 hours, we’ve hammered through most of it.  Of course, I don’t know how many miles you have to go, but it just makes it nicer.  When my son and his family moved last year, to another rental, as a gift we paid for movers, and it was all done in a day.  I hope like hell they leave when the lease is up.  They both work, it’s an acre, and the landlady examined the yard DAILY for weeds, even though they had someone do a commercial spray twice, and my son mowed and irrigated weekly. And she shows up and lets herself in when they aren’t there, which is just plain creepy.  They are immaculate, but she does it anyway.  It’s tough on folks who aren’t in shape to own, but maybe with all these sad foreclosures, something will come up.  Damn banks.  They just let the houses rot, rather than let the people live there and keep them up.

  • ha!  that’s funny.  tell Bob I said hey, would you?

  • My daughter has two little ones.  The female (Lola) is a lover and licker and would lick til her death if I let her.  I am her favorite.  I must have something in my skin she smells and is addicted to.  Oh well, if she’s the only being in the house who will kiss me, I’ll take it!

  • Quite simply a fabulous blog..I loved it!!

  • That Pecos is a real love and happy you are doing ok with the move and are able to eat.
    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((tamy))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

  • licker license?  lol.  pecos is adorable.  he deserves to get his licks.  lol….
